Spiritual Pit Stop

 Watching a NASCAR race I marvelled at the driver's exceptional skill in manoeuvring the car at such high speeds but the thing that caught my attention was the Pit Stop.  Within minutes the car receives gasoline, a change of tires, and any other service or repair needed plus water and snacks for the driver.  Just like a magical whirlwind, these mechanical genies fly around, over and inside the car.  Next thing you know they all step back and the tires squeal and leave a trail of smoke behind as the driver rejoins the race.  Without the incredible skill of the Pit Stop genies, no race would ever be complete.   

Recently, my guides have described my meditation practice as a Spiritual Pit Stop; a necessary component to assist, fuel and support me in living my life with joy and balance.  Without making the time in my day for my Spiritual Pit Stop, I get run down, cranky and disconnected so I have learned to make this a priority each and every day.

Some days I get myself into my Spiritual Pit Stop on fumes and my guides quickly repair and replenish my energy, and usually my resolve that I have what it takes to master anything that comes my way.  With my newly replenished energy, I am ready to tackle my life again.  Other days I fly sideways into my Spiritual Pit Stop covered with the remnants of an out-of-control day and my guides are quick to calm me down, recharge my batteries and any other spiritual service I may need so that I can not only tackle my life again but enjoy it in the process.  They shower me with support, acceptance and unconditional love.    

Your Spiritual Pit Stop is truly an individual exploration and a beautiful, sacred time.  I encourage you to visit your Spiritual Pit Stop every day.  You may do guided meditations, breath work, mantras, prayers or listen to relaxing music or singing bowls.  There is no right or wrong way to connect with your guides.  And, on the days you aren't sure what you need simply quiet your mind and ask for help.  Think of your guides and angels as your Spiritual Pit Stop genies.  They will help you recharge, become enlightened, healed, unburdened, informed, filled with love and light and whatever else you may need to meet your goals and dreams head on and finish what you set out to complete in your life.
